Information Collection & Use

INetU Managed Hosting (“INetU”) is the sole owner of the information collected on www.inetu.net. INetU Managed Hosting collects personally identifiable information (PII) from our users at several different points on our Web site.
 

Contact Forms

When you complete a contact form, we require that you provide certain personally identifiable information, including your name, company, address, and phone number. This information is necessary. It enables us to contact you.

Upon submitting a contact form, your name and email address will be included on our newsletter mailing list. For more information on our newsletter policy please see the "Newsletters" section.
 

Communications from the Site


Newsletters

Upon submitting your contact information to us, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the "Choice/ Opt-out" section.

Service-related Announcements

All INetU clients are connected to our Client Center. The Client Center has automatic alert functionality that will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if there is a service window for maintenance, we might send you an email.

Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. Please see "Choice/ Opt-out."
 

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We share personally identifiable information with Third Parties. However, we do not share, sell, rent or trade PII with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Service Providers

We use Marketo as our third party mail agent for all newsletter correspondences. We will share your email address and name.

Third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our company.
 

Choice/Opt-out

We provide you the opportunity to "opt-out" of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes when we ask for this information. For example, when you complete an online inquiry form you have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving our newsletter or any other promotional materials.

Log Files

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users' movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We use two third-party tracking services, Google Analytics and Bold Chat. Both of these use cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site.
 

Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us both during transmission and once we receive it. INetU's facilities are monitored 24X7X365 using live CCTV systems. Our network is protected by best of breed technology including a secure firewall. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
 

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site.

We use session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser's "help" file.

The use of cookies by those other than INetU are not covered by our privacy statement.  We do not have access or control over these cookies.  Marketo uses session ID cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site.
 

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see "Choice/Opt-out."
 

Public Forums

Our Web site offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your personally identifiable information from our blog or community forum, contact us at privacy@inetu.net.  In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personally identifiable information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
 

Testimonials

We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name. We obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you wish to request to have your testimonial remove please contact us at privacy@inetu.net.
 

Links to Other Sites

Our Web site and Client Center contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by INetU. Please be aware that INetU is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.

Social Media Widgets

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button [and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site]. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
