Scott Walters, Director of Client Services

Scott came to INetU in 2007 after working as an Internet consultant for companies like Mack Truck and Volvo AB. With 15 years of experience, Scott brings a technical background of Unix, networking, security, and software and systems development to INetU. He contributed ‘larrd’, the number one downloaded plugin for Big Brother to the Open Source community.
He is known for his ability to get to the root of a broken issue and fix it permanently. Scott approaches systems from the business need, which translates into an efficiency that clients appreciate. With a reputation for 'getting things done', Scott is not content to just sit back.
“I love systems monitoring and development and I like to be able to leverage lessons learned in one scenario to an entire population. At INetU, I appreciate the fact I get to make a difference every day,” says Scott.
On leadership, his team will agree:
“I drive them crazy with unrealistic goals and the enthusiasm and support to make it happen anyway”. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Lehigh University where he wrote his thesis on the impact of improved communications on the quality of life called, “Cash Value Connectivity.” Scott’s training and certifications include the MIT Sloan School of Management, Six Sigma Green Belt Training, CISSP, PMP, ITIL, as well as Solaris Administration certifications.
